Ah, yes. "Like normal people."

I do love Grump-pop. It certainly fits Bruno.

Thanks. It's what we called my grandfather. He was loud and kind of grumpy, But he was also a big teddy bear with a big heart. He definitely influenced old Bruno's character.

She... is not around many kids or people, right?
Heh. Seems that way.
The kids will hopefully remain good friends. They have similar brains, haha.

Kids tend to live in their own little bubbles of reality. But these two are getting along great. Plus, this is one heck of a bonding experience!

Whew, hopefully the kids are safe now.
Though I think they held their own pretty good throughout this!!! Grump-pop will be proud.

yeah, I hope this isn't too saccharin. But the "Jack adventures" are an excuse for me to head into Peanuts and Dennis the Menace territory, Before another "gritty" crime drama :)

Right, hehe - it works! It doesn't detract from the main plot at all, either, so it's pretty genius.

This reminds me of a story I read in a bicycling magazine. Before I tell the story, one background fact: it's somewhat common for bicyclists to shave their legs, for several reasons (for example, "road rash" is not as bad with shaved legs). So there was this single father, a bicyclist, and he was going to pick up his new girlfriend for some event; his son was coming along as well. The girlfriend wasn't quite ready; she said she still had to shave her legs. The cyclist's son said "Wait, girls shave their legs TOO?"

haha, yeah, when you stop and think about it, a lot of the funny things kids say are perfectly rational when you think about it from their perspective.

Yeah, all the kid knew about leg shaving was that it was a thing his dad did! He must have assumed that it was a thing guys do.

Normal is whatever you are used to; weird is what you aren't used to. ^_^

Good episode! "The Queen Answers"? What was Dad thinking of when he named that boat! "Grump-Pop" and "Pee-Paw", wow I missed out when I was stuck with Grandad! I suspect that there's another twist in store..

"The Queen Answers" is a little foreshadowing on my part... For the upcoming twist ;)

You do a great job going through the plot and putting little jokes here in there throughout.

Oh my goodness, the variety of names for grandparents among kids is astonishing, honestly. Pop-pop? Grandpa? Grammmmpa? The creativity never runs out!
